While searching for a part-time job, Bob Sackett was told about a Maple Heights photography shop that needed someone to clean their offices. Bob stopped by the shop, spoke to the owner, offered his services, and quoted the owner a price. The owner not only gave him the job, but promised him a bonus if he didn't get water on the walls when he was mopping the floor. Little did Bob realize that this once a week, one hour job would be the beginning of a career that has now spanned forty years.

Bob and his wife Joan founded Bob's Office Cleaning, Inc. in 1967, and built a business that has provided work for many members of their family. They moved to Medina in 2000, and while maintaining their original accounts in Solon, Maple Heights, Warrensville Heights, Twinsburg, and Garfield Heights, have been expanding their territory to include the Medina area. We visited with Bob and Joan recently, and listened as they outlined their company's services and offerings;

Bob's Office Cleaning, Inc. specializes in providing local businesses with general office cleaning services, from once a week to five times a week. We perform vacuuming, dusting, emptying the wastepaper baskets, cleaning restrooms, mopping the floors. We also furnish paper products to many of the companies we serve. We've always been a family-oriented business. In addition to our other employees, one of our sons works for us, a couple of our grandsons work with us, and our other children help out when needed. We have a great team of very conscientious employees, and our foreman is a good friend who has worked with us for a long time.

Reliability is extremely important to us. I can't remember a time when we've not shown up for a job, although I do remember many a blizzard when some of our employees couldn't make it and family members pitched in to make sure our accounts received the service they were expecting.
